My Salty Grin
I was born from a wound in your underbelly
Inspired by the foreground and its lessons
Caught only in the corner of your eye.
I glance up at you for a moment. Again.
You smile. I always liked how your teeth fit together
I speculate whether or not you are human.
One day,
We will hide in the ocean and disappear.
Don't ask me
why I put this under "Poetry" and Dawn's other work under "Unfathomable
Miscellany". I reckon it's a testament to my split personality disorder.
